Marek Wittenberg, Intern Communication & Marketing

Since I started my study of European Studies at The Hague University of Applied Sciences my interest and passion for Dutch art, tradition, and culture have grown exponentially. My Erasmus exchange and study have provided me with an outsider's view that made me appreciate this and helped me realise that it was something I had often overlooked. When studying in Lithuania and focusing on Germany, Eastern Europe, and the European project as a whole during my studies, I found myself recognising the value and importance of all the culture back home much more.

This is exactly why I am happy to be working as a communication and marketing intern at DutchCulture, starting in February 2024. My strong passion for writing is something that fits well in an environment where communication is of great importance. I see it as a fitting conclusion to my study, where I was continuously tasked to look over the border, to now, an internship at an organization that aims to help artists do the same.
